Cutter

The Valmet Cutter is suitable for all pulp types and for cutting both wet and dry pulp. Of course it can be used for cutting wrapper sheets as well. The change from normal sheets to wrappers or vice versa takes place automatically in less than one minute with no effect on the drying machine speed.

Bale conveyor system

Valmet's range of bale conveyors is based upon years of experience in handling pulp bales. The heavy-duty design guarantees a long life, safe operation and easy maintenance. Valmet Bale Conveyor System is used in pulp producing lines (sheet dried and flash dried), as well as in pulp receiving lines for recipe handling, de-wiring and pulper feeding. All conveyors are available in a large number of variants optimized to handle different capacities, pulp qualities, bale weights and bale dimensions. The baling system is adaptive and flexible. Each conveyor is equipped with its own PLC and software that provides precision control of the bales.

Inkjet marker

The inkjet marker is a fully automatic system for efficient and reliable marking of pulp bales and part of a complete baling line. The inkjet marker applies high-quality printing to mark bales with company logos, pulp trademarks and other relevant information such as production data.

Bale quality system, BQS

Valmet, the global leader in pulp and paper lines, supplies the Bale quality system (BQS) as a supervisory tool designed to keep track of production data and quality parameters for bale handling. BQS is a unique system that tracks each individual bale, bale set and bale unit throughout the production line. The system uses absolute bale position tracking to ensure exceptional reliability of key data.
