Elin Engqvist (Application Engineer, Tissue Application) and Maria Vennerström (Manager, Bleaching and Analysis) are named on a list* of the ten most inventive women in Sweden published by the Swedish Patent Office. Valmet is very proud to have two employees on this list and the patent department has conducted an interview with Elin and Maria to find out what makes a good inventor.

Fadereco in Algeria selected Valmets Reelite T to be able to meet their customers’ demand and avoid bottlenecks in their production. They wanted to invest in a rewinder dedicated to the converters with small reels and that was reliable and easy to operate. Valmet’s Reelite T turned out to be what they were aiming for.

Valmet investing in the future

Valmet upgrades its pilot machines in 2018 to support paper, board and tissue customers in moving their performance forward. The upgrades increase the flexibility of the pilot trial possibilities even more.
