Luigi Lazzareschi
CEO at Sofidel Group
Chairman and Keynote speaker
Luigi Lazzareschi is the Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of all Italian and foreign companies of the Sofidel Group, one of the leading manufacturers of paper for hygienic and household use worldwide.
Working in Sofidel since 1988, Luigi Lazzareschi paves the way for the growth of the Regina brand. In 1993, with the death of his father Giuseppe (co-founder of the Group with Emi Stefani), he takes over his responsibilities, guiding the next phase of expansion and internationalisation.
In 2012 he takes another historic step: extending production and commercial activities to the United States, where, in just 13 years, the Group grows to include 14 production sites and becomes one of the leading players in the Private Label sector.
Over these years he takes the decision to make sustainability a strategic lever for development and innovation. As a result of this commitment, in 2016 he is appointed Ambassador for the 50th anniversary of WWF Italy.
In 2018, Luigi Lazzareschi has been inducted in the Paper International Hall of Fame (PIHF), the small number of big names in the global tissue production industry. An induction that rewards his efforts in pursuing sustainable development and in expanding the business of the Group.

Luís Bueno
Consumer Goods Executive Vice President at Suzano
Luís Bueno is Suzano’s Consumer Goods Executive Vice President. He is responsible for the development of the Consumer Goods division since its startup and has led the business into the Brazilian market leadership, including organic and inorganic initiatives.
He built his career in Strategy Consulting (Bain & Company), providing consulting services to clients in the Financial Services and Consumer Goods sectors in a number of countries in the Americas, and then as Business Directors in Consumer Goods and Retail companies in Brazil (Natura, Hering and Vigor).
Luís holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (USA) and completed executive education programs in Leadership and General Management from Insead (France) and London Business School (UK).
Tim Jadin
Vice President, Projects and Engineering at Georgia Pacific
Tim leads Georgia Pacific’s Consumer Products, Containerboard, and Cellulose Project and Engineering team. Tim and his team are responsible for the development and execution of capital and expense projects within the manufacturing locations that support those businesses.
Tim joined Georgia-Pacific in 2002 and has worked at the Green Bay, WI and Port Hudson, LA facilities. He has experience with tissue machines, secondary fiber, tissue converting, maintenance, and engineering. Tim has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a M.S. in Engineering Management from Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Giovacchino Giurlani
Director, Tissue Segment Technology, TS Machines and Converting Lines
Giovacchino has an in‑depth knowledge of the tissue market and its technologies. He leads the development of integrated end-to-end solutions for the tissue industry, with a strong focus on digital innovation and advanced technologies that enable full process control.
From 2021 to 2024, he served as Managing Director of the Fold Division, guiding global folded product development and supporting the transition to the new Valmet structure. He began his career at Fabio Perini S.p.A., progressing through commercial and technical roles that built the foundation of his expertise.

Johanna Pihl
Project manager at Tissue machinery R&D
Johanna holds a Master degree in Material Science and Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
She has been at Valmet for six years and mainly leading development projects besides being assisting project manager at the pilot machine. Johanna manages cross functional projects from wet to dry end, but her area of expertise is winding technology.
Prior to Valmet Johanna has worked five years in the defense industry.

Novella Buonaccorsi
Head of Digital
Novella has extensive expertise at the intersection of digitalization, advanced automation, and industrial processes, with a particular emphasis on data-driven decision making and AI-enabled solutions.
She has developed a strong strategic mindset and the ability to lead outcome-driven teams, combining innovation with a pragmatic, execution-oriented approach.
In July 2025, she assumed full responsibility for driving digital initiatives across the entire Valmet Tissue Business Area, expanding her scope beyond tissue converting to cover end-to-end digital solutions for the full tissue production chain.
In her role, she defines and executes the digital strategy in alignment with Valmet’s overall business objectives, supporting customers in improving performance, efficiency, and operational autonomy.

Jenny Lahti Samuelsson
Vice President Tissue Mills Sales
Jenny holds a University MSc degree in engineering from Royal Institute of technology and has held several different roles in Valmet since starting in 1995 as R&D Engineer.
Jenny took over the responsibility for Valmet’s tissue making technology including tissue machine concepts, mill technology and process automation in 2018. The main task is to lead and coordinate the strategic work for technology development within the global organization to secure Valmet Best Available Technology. Since 2023, Jenny is the Vice President Tissue Mills Sales leading the global sales department.

Danilo Marcos
Concept Manager Structured Tissue
Danilo Marcos started his career at Valmet tissue business in 2007 as project and product development engineer. Since 2016 he is located in Sweden, first as senior process engineer and from 2018 he joined R&D and the global Tissue Technology team as concept manager for structured tissue and Valmet Hybrid technologies. Danilo has a degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in paper and celluloses technology.

Arvid Johansson
Senior Manager Tissue Mills Technology
Arvid Johansson started his career in Valmet 2018 and has held several different technical roles in Valmet. In 2010 he moved to China to work with Tissue engineering in Valmet´s Xián office. In 2012 Arvid joined the R&D department at Valmet and has been deeply involved in the development of the Advantage™ NTT® concept. In 2015 Arvid took on the role as Concept Manager for Dry Crepe Tissue technology. He is currently Senior Manager Tissue Mills Technology at Valmet.

Alessandro Borelli
Director, Global Service for Tissue Converting
Alessandro brings more than 27 years of experience in the tissue converting industry. He has developed strong expertise in global service and lifecycle management, installed base value creation, and customer‑centric service models, with a particular focus on technology‑enabled solutions and data‑driven decision making.
Alessandro has built a solid strategic mindset and a leadership approach centered on people's development, combining operational pragmatism with long‑term business vision.
In his role, he defines and executes the service strategy in alignment with Valmet’s business objectives, supporting customers in improving performance, reliability, and operational efficiency across the installed base.

Arnold Präsent
Global Business Development Data Management & Analytics manager, Automation
Arnold began his career in automation within the process industry, gaining hands-on experience in instrumentation, control systems, modeling, and advanced process control. During this time, he completed Master’s degrees in Automation Engineering and Industrial Management, combining strong technical expertise with a solid business perspective from an early stage.
After more than a decade working in operations and engineering roles across different industries, he transitioned into the IT sector, where he led a Data, AI, and Analytics department for serveral years. His focus was on turning data into strategic value and scaling digital capabilities across organizations.
Four years ago, he returned to automation in the pulp, paper, and tissue industry. Today, he brings together expertise from automation, IT, and production environments, combined with broad experience in digitalization and data-driven transformation.

Mauro Luna
Global Head Engraving Rolls Technology Unit and Director Tissue Services LatAm
Mauro brings more than 30 years of experience in the industrial segment and paper industry. He began his career at Voith, back in 1989, with experiences in other multinational companies like Falk and SKF, starting in Fabio Perini 2019.
He has developed strong expertise in global commercial leadership, responsible for new equipment and services business, as well as specific technologies and segments. During the last 3 years, Mauro has been responsible for the development of the business in the LatAm region and recently took over the leadership of the global Engraving Solutions, covering the Italian, Brazilian and the North American sales and operations.
Mauro has built a solid strategic mindset and a leadership approach centered on people's development and customer centric actions with short and long‑term business vision to support customers in improving performance and efficiency.

Elizabeth Wilson
Director Tissue Services North America
Elizabeth has a strong background and extensive experience in commercial leadership, customer service, and business development across the tissue industry. Throughout her career, she has held progressive leadership roles focused on driving operational excellence, strengthening customer partnerships, and expanding service business opportunities.
Leading initiatives that support performance improvement, efficiency, and long-term growth Elizabeth has developed deep expertise in tissue services, business strategy, and customer-focused solutions. In her current role, she is responsible for leading Tissue Services operations and business development across the North American region, working closely with customers to deliver innovative solutions and high-value service support.
She is recognized for her strategic mindset, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to people development. Elizabeth is passionate about building strong teams and fostering customer-centric actions aligned with both short- and long-term business objectives. Through her leadership, she supports customers in achieving operational success while advancing the growth and vision of the organization.

Flavio Sabbioni
Technical Sales Manager
Flavio and brings over 16 years of experience in the Engraving Rolls industry. Throughout his career, he has developed deep technical and commercial expertise, becoming a key contributor to product development and innovation.
His professional path reflects strong and structured internal growth, with experience across production, technical office, and R&D. With a dual background in Architecture and Engineering, Flavio combines creative and artistic skills with solid technical knowledge, maintaining a strong customer-oriented approach. In his current role, he directly oversees the development of tailor-made solutions and pilot testing, ensuring effective responses to the diverse needs of different markets.
With a pragmatic, results-driven mindset, Flavio actively contributes to business growth by identifying new opportunities and, above all, strengthening customer loyalty. He is highly regarded for his ability to integrate technical and strategic perspectives, fostering collaboration across functions in line with Valmet’s Lifecycle strategy and an End-to-End approach.
