Application server
The Valmet ACN Application Server (ACN AS) is an industrial server for the Valmet DNA distributed control system (DCS). The Valmet ACN AS can fulfill various roles, such as Trend and Event Archive (TEA), Engineering Server (EAS), and others. The server runs the Windows Server operating system and can be installed in the control room or rack room.
Process operation workstation
The Valmet ACN for Process Operation (ACN PO) is an industrial workstation for the Valmet DNA distributed control system (DCS). The Valmet ACN PO can be used as the Process Operation user interface, Alarm Processor, Backup Server, as well as OPC Server. The workstation runs on the Windows operating system and can be installed in the control room or rack room.

The Valmet Backup Server or OPC Server/Client (ACN CSW) is a high-performance industrial computer designed for embedded and standalone applications. As a multifunction platform, the Valmet ACN CSW can be a Valmet DNA Backup Server, OPC Server/Client, or even a process operation workstation. Thanks to its fan-less cooling design, the Valmet ACN CSW operates silently, even under a heavy load.
