Valmet renovates children’s sports field at Dąbrówka Orphanage in Poland

Valmet’s social responsibility program continues with local projects around the world promoting science, nature and equal opportunities. In the EMEA area, Valmet supports Dąbrówka Orphanage in Jelenia Góra, Poland, by renovating the orphanage’s old sports field to further improve the children’s access to meaningful activities and equal opportunities for wellbeing.

Valmet expanded its global social responsibility program with several area-specific projects promoting science, nature and equal opportunities in 2022. The local projects kicked off successfully during 2023, touching the lives of many individuals and local communities around the world. To further strengthen its positive impact globally, Valmet has decided to continue the program in 2024.

In China, Valmet continues its tradition to grant scholarships to undergraduate students in three industry universities and set up new scholarships to postgraduate students in five industry universities with the theme “Towards the future with science".
