Refining is one key process part to influence on strength properties and softness of Tissue. With optimized refining it is possible to achieve higher strength properties which can be utilized for energy savings or changing the recipe for saving the pulp costs. In this presentation we will review possibilities in refining and latest results. We will also present a brief overview of refiner control and optimization.
