Valmet Press Felt EMX M Bioneer for board machines

Valmet Press Felt EMX M Bioneer for board machines

Valmet Press Felt EMX M Bioneer’s modular design ensures sufficient dewatering capacity throughout the felt’s lifetime, and the smooth paper-side of the fabric delivers excellent sheet quality for the targeted grade. Additionally, the felt’s raw material includes partially bio-based yarn with lower CO2 emissions compared to traditional yarn, thereby reducing the felt’s carbon footprint.

Screw pressing

Screw pressing

Screw presses are suitable for thickening a wide range of pulps. The design of the press is based on extensive experience of multiple applications in pulp and paper production and other industries.

Doctoring products

Doctoring products

Doctoring affects machine runnability, paper and board quality, production costs, and production efficiency. Runnability can be improved by optimizing doctoring parameters and blade materials. Cleaner rolls result in better end-product quality. The blades can be selected to meet customers shutdown schedule which will lead to fewer blade changes resulting in lower blade costs. The reduction of unplanned shutdowns and costly downtime periods can be avoided by reliable and trouble-free doctoring.

OptiPress Linear

OptiPress Linear

OptiPress Linear, a double-nip press section with shoe press and a linear web run, is an ideal solution to fulfill papermakers’ requirements for effective wet pressing. Runnability bottlenecks have been removed with intelligent design - using shoe press technology, full-width tail threading, and having no open draws.

Aqua layering technology

Aqua layering technology

This technology uses a thin water layer as a headbox wedge to stabilize layers while layers of stratified paper are being joined together. It prevents mixing of stock layers and also enables feeding of functional additives between the stock layers. Combine with OptiFlo Layering Fourdrinier and OptiFlo Layering Gap headboxes.
